Éadaoin is originally from the Galway Gaeltacht, and is now happily resident in Sligo.
She has a passionate love of the outdoors, music, bodywork, and self-care practices. Her love of conscious dance is as a practice that supports being more present to life, however that is and that there's a vitality that comes with that. 'Conscious dance has been my strongest medicine and I feel blessed to be able to share it with others in classes & events both indoors & outdoors in the Northwest.’
Éadaoin has practiced in a number of different conscious dance modalities including Open Floor, 5 Rhythms, Amerta Movement, Move into Life and Dance the Medicine. She completed Open Floor teacher training in 2017 and has been teaching since. Open Floor is a resource based practice that has a big appeal for its focus on building greater resiliency and connection to our vitality through a felt sense and knowing in the body. She works for Dance the Medicine conscious dance D.J school internationally.
Éadaoin also brings her previous work as a Palliative Care Physician, her training as a General Practitioner (G.P), Family Constellation practitioner, and over 20 years of experience in yoga, reiki, meditation, and mindfulness practices. She spent many years teaching canoeing to adults and teens and has a life-long love of learning environments that include movement, self-expression and the outdoors.
